Kenova police blotter: Man reports items stolen from residence

The following information was provided by the Kenova Police Department:

A 27-year-old man reported a television, gaming system, games, DVD players and assorted DVDs stolen from his residence in the 800 block of 23rd St., Kenova, between Feb. 4 and Feb. 7.

ENTERING WITHOUT BREAKING/ARSON: A 47-year-old man reported a fire in an outdoor storage building valued at $10,000 between 8:30 and 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 18. The incident occurred in the 2200 block of Sycamore Street. The property owners said the building contained $5,000 worth of furniture. The State Fire Marshal's office is handling the investigation.

ENTERING WITHOUT BREAKING/LARCENY: A 21-year-old woman reported that someone entered her residence in the 1200 block of Chestnut Street between 4 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23 and 2:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 24, and stole a DVD player and miscellaneous DVDs. Items were valued at approximately $425.
