A Shelby woman came home from holiday travel to find televisions and DVD players missing.

The incident happened on the 1600 block of Friendship Road. The items are valued at $1,669.

A police report states the house was last secure Dec. 24. The reporting person said her front door was open with pry marks near the lock.

Items taken from the house include two DVD players, a Sylvania flat-screen TV with a Blu-ray player and a gray JVC stereo system.

Officer B.C. Nantz was on the scene and found fingerprints on the entertainment center, according to the report.

The investigation is still continuing.
