Fox 11 Posted on March 1, 2011 at 1:54 PM TUCSON, Ariz. -- A nice present Monday for kids at the Diamond Children's Medical Center. Contractors who helped on the center's construction, donated two fun centers featuring video games, TVs and DVD players. "They can play games, they can be involved in happy times, fun things, rather than the difficulties of their illness, and so we have found that it makes an immense difference for the children," said volunteer Tony Janik. The fun centers are easy to roll up to the bed of a young patient. It helps out those fighting lonliness after visiting hours are over.
