- Retail theft: A 50-year-old Little Chute woman who was caught concealing two DVD players in shopping bags at a department store, also had marijuana in the bags when police arrested her. She was jailed for retail theft and possession of THC as well as for a probation violation since she already is on probation for retail theft.
NOV. 18
- Child welfare: A 27-year-old Appleton man was referred to social services after someone reported he left his 19-month-old son alone in a parked vehicle in the 2400 block of W. Wisconsin Avenue. The boy was sleeping, the doors were locked and the windows were cracked. Police said the child was not injured. The man said he went to a store to get diapers.
NOV. 15
- Welfare check: Police removed a 25-year-old man from a storage unit where he was living at 1816 W. Northland Ave. Police said he ran an extension cord from outside and had a heater, light, television and DVD player plugged in, along with a sleeping bag and food. Police took the man to a hospital after be became argumentative and threatened suicide, but he was checked by a crisis worker and not placed on an emergency hold.
NEENAH NOV. 20
- Fraud: Police cited a 42-year-old Neenah man for fraud on a taxi. The man asked the taxi driver to take him to a couple of pawnshops, Best Buy and two residences but then said he had no money to pay for the $57.60 fare.
NOV. 19
- Damage to property: A Neenah man reported that the front tires on his Ford pickup truck were flat in the 2100 block of Harrison Street. Police said it appeared as though someone stabbed the tires with a flathead screwdriver. The damaged was estimated at $200.
NOV. 18
- Noise: Police cited a 42-year-old Neenah man for loud and unnecessary noise for playing music that could be heard from the street in the 1000 block of W. Cecil Street at 4:40 a.m. Officers had given the man a warning for loud music two days earlier.
NOV. 17
- Drugs: A Neenah woman told police that her 20-year-old son was smoking marijuana with her 16-year-old son in the 1100 block of Gilbert Street. She kicked the older son out of the house.
- Disturbance: Police responded to a home in the 1500 block of Worth Avenue for a disturbance between a 52-year-old Neenah woman and her 19-year-old daughter. The mother was upset because her daughter is six months pregnant and still using marijuana. The daughter just wanted money so she could leave the house to buy marijuana. Police put the daughter in contact with agencies that could help her with her drug problem.

- Harassment: A 20-year-old Larsen woman reported she received a vulgar, threatening voicemail from her friend's boyfriend in the 2300 block of Industrial Drive. The message said in part, "You are going to pay if it's the last thing I do. You will regret it." Police cited the man for unlawful use of a telephone.
NOV. 15
- Theft: A Neenah woman reported that someone repeatedly was stealing the weekend editions of The Post-Crescent from her residence in the 1300 block of Whispering Pines Lane.
TOWN OF MENASHA NOV. 14
- Traffic stop: An officer observed a vehicle traveling north on Memorial Drive at a high rate of speed and attempted to stop it, but it continued into Appleton. With the assistance of Appleton police, the vehicle was stopped at Memorial Drive and Lawrence Street. The driver, a 21-year-old Menasha man, was taken into custody for violating bond conditions for a previous arrest for operating after revocation. He also was issued citations for speeding and operating after revocation.
NOV. 13
- Suspicious incident: Officers responded to an alarm at a business in the 700 block of Kuehn Court and found a door open. It appeared that the door handle was damaged. Nothing appeared to be taken from the business.
NOV. 12
- Underage drinking: Officers were called to an apartment in the 1800 block of County II on a report of a loud party. Citations for underage alcohol consumption were issued to a 20-year-old Town of Menasha woman and 18-year-old Town of Menasha man.
NOV. 11
- Burglary: A deliveryman reported that a window at a business in the 200 block of W. Calumet Street was broken. Surveillance footage showed a suspect entering the business. It didn't appear that anything was taken.
NOV. 10
- Fraud: A business owner in the 2000 block of S. Oneida Street reported that someone purchased a $500 money order, which was paid for in cash. When the owner deposited the money at a financial institution, it was determined that $240 worth of $20 bills were counterfeit.
NOV. 7
- Damage to property: A business owner in the 2500 block of Cold Spring Road reported that it appeared someone tried to break into his building over the weekend. The owner found some pry marks on several doors, but no entry was gained.
NOV. 5
- Loud noise: Officers were called to an apartment in the 1100 block of Valley Road twice in the same night on loud noise complaints. The first time, the residents were warned to be quieter. A few hours later, officers were called back and could hear people shouting and stomping around. No one answered the door. Officers intend to issue the tenant a citation for loud noise.
NOV. 2
- Disorderly conduct: A truck driver from Canada called police to report that a man was blocking her truck and preventing her from leaving in the 1000 block of Cold Spring Road. Officers contacted both people and learned that the man had made comments of a sexual nature to the female truck driver after providing her directions, and then followed her to her destination. The 59-year old Town of Menasha man was cited for disorderly conduct.
NOV. 1
- Damage to property: A resident of the 1200 block of Glenview Drive reported that a window on his vehicle was damaged by a BB or a pellet.
