Avermedia offers wireless media sharing products Posted: 22 Dec 2010 01:34 AM PST Ninelu Tu, Taipei; Joseph Tsai, DIGITIMES [Wednesday 22 December 2010] | Avermedia Technologies has launched a new product for wirelessly connecting notebook, desktop or tablet PCs to TVs, set-top boxes, and DVD players for sharing audio/video content around the home. Support will be extended to iPhone and Android smartphones in the first quarter of 2011, according to the company. Although Avermedia is confident about the new product, since the segment is new, it is likely to contribute less than 5% to the company's annual revenues. For 2011, the company expects revenues to grow 20-25% on year, benefiting from the strong diversification of product lines as well as increasing popularity of its products.
